empty world
ashes & feathers
boys & girls

spinning life
begins at noon
ends at dinner
lives in a cocoon

spinning hearts
stop on a dime
always in trouble
never have time

spinning minds
living on fire
pills and band-aids
too drunk to enquire

spinning soul
soft as the dawn
flashes like thunder
and the next moment

is gone
